Certain things recently have been making me think about french and france, and I want to inundate myself in the french culture again. It all started with that movie Paris Je t’aime. Then there is this movie at the hippodrome playing thats in french, and it looks awesome. I want to watch it without subtitles, maybe I can understand most of it. It’ll be good practice. Just now, I heard a french song on hypem.com. It was pretty good.

And I should totally be working right now.

So last night after running and the such, I went and veggied out all night. Made dinner, had lots of tea and water and juice and what not. I even went to bed early. I was trying to kick this illness off as soon as possible. I think it worked. I am not 100% but i feel way better than I did last night and I am sure that by tomorrow, I will be 100%. :-D

Now, I will be looking into buying more tea. It wasn’t bad at all. Tea with honey and lime is the bomb! And the health benefits can’t be beat. :-D Oolong is the only tea I have ever purchased, and I like it, but I think that during lunch today, I will back to Mother Earth, a natural food store down the street from work, to see what kind of teas they have and maybe buy some to try stuff out. It also apparently helps in weightloss or something, so thats good. I need an extra boost, cuz plateaus suck!

Well I need to get back to work. :(

So we had a party for Jason this past weekend. It was pretty freaking awesome. It was a “green” party. I think it was a success. But almost everyone I know that went to our party got sick in one way or the other. And until recently, I thought I was in the clear, til yesterday, when it got progressively worse. My sinuses are my biggest issue. I have a tickle in my throat. Its not severe enough for me to call off of work or like be in bed all day. Hopefully I can start getting better today and say I was never sick. :-D But who knows. But yeah, just wanted to update this thing with something other than links, and the such.

PS: to all my fellow sickies, hope you are all doing better. Drink lots of liquids! :-D

It sucks that I (and probably alot of people) are spending so much time wishing it was Friday, that we waste out all that good Monday through Thursday time. I think I do a good job of filling in that time, but i still wish Friday to get here sooner.

It definitely has to do with my job. If I had a job I enjoyed, I probably wouldn’t dread having to wake up every morning to go to work. I never intended this job to be permanent, but I’ve been here over a year now, going on two. Eventhough I haven’t really made a new years resolution, I really want to get out of this job this year and move out of Gainesville. Gainesville has been good to me, but I feel trapt.

I JUST WANNA GET OUT!

Hello Tumblr,

Before we venture into this relationship, I want to let you know that I have been known to be quite unreliable and uncommitted. First it was livejournal, before the word blogging was cool, then I had a blogspot, which I shared with no one because I knew we would fail. Today, I have decided to take the plunge and see where this takes me. I hope that I don’t commit the same mistakes as before, but you have been warned. And with this, I start a new chapter in my life, lets hope for the best!
